Wow, that's quite a selective reading of the polls. Last Friday, I came across a Newsweek poll that said Obama had a 14 point lead. That one and the one you site are the only ones with any significant deviation from what the pollsters, pundits and mainstream media say is an extremely close race. Most polls I've read have Obama (including one today) up 4-7 points with a margin of error of 3-4 points. I've read several times that Obama received no significant bounce after Clinton's withdrawal.

The Newsweek one with him 15 points up seems high and so was the other one today that had him 12 points up.

The bigger picture here is that there have been NO national polls with McCain up for weeks. 538 estimates that Obama is up about 5-6 points nationally with seems quite reasonable.
