Yeah, I used to be guilty of this. Had the BlackBerry set up so I knew I got an e-mail the second it came through and everything.

You know what? I got sick of that. Turned it all off, and now I check e-mails when I feel like it.

And I'm a lot happier with things that way.

I liked this article too :) Now if I could just convince my boss that if I don't respond to an e-mail within 3 seconds of it being sent, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm ignoring him...

I turn the sound off for my computer so it won't beep when I get new emails.

Can't say I'm missing much ... or cell phones, either.
