David McDonald for Obama

posted by on June 2 at 16:47 PM

Another WA super for Obama. (Via Postman.) I bet Marcie Sillman is steaming that she couldn’t get him to break this on Weekday this morning. (And what a score it would’ve been! When Steve Scher was on vacation and everything!)

And I know you guys hate it when I do this, but I just have to. Told you so!

Ed Rendell, former governor of Philadelphia has also switched alliances and is now backing Obama. The end is nigh...(as that guy on the corner told me years ago...like HRC, I wasn't paying attention)

The end of the Hillary campaign? That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange æons even death may die.

Woo-hoo, Obama's chances just rose from 99.999 % to 99.9999!!!!

Who is Marcie Sillman? Who is Steve Scher? What is the point of the "I told you so?" When did this place become such an insider-ey salon?

You shut up, unPC. It's your fault Hillary lost.

@4: Extra link to clarify, sorry. Do you live in Seattle?

@3: No, no. You have me all wrong. I'm crowing about being right, not about Obama getting one more measly superdelegate. My motivations are purely base.

Steve Scher's on vacation? That means Weekday might even be listen-able. Maybe I'll tune-in this week.

A lot of my Clinton friends are steaming today, or working through the stages of grief.

Give them time, and try not to be harsh.

Nice call Annie. Just a couple dozen more now.

This just in: Hillary Clinton announces that in addition to "winning the popular vote," she has worn more pantsuits than Barack Obama and by that measure also should be the nominee.

Try not to be harsh? Fuck that noise! How can someone even hope to 'tell it like it is' to a gender that surrenders its moral agency for shiny things?

One more sexiest mofo who can't see Hillary has been winning more states lately.

One more sexist mofo who can't see Odrama will lose in November. The super delegates who are supposed to look after the party's interest will scratch their head after another defeat.

All but two of the Clinton superdelegates who are Governors are prepared to announce they are supporting Obama by this weekend.

Yeah, it's a lot.

Odrama, will you still be here to admit that you were wrong if Obama wins in November? Also, if he wins, will you be more upset that you were wrong all this time, or that Obama would actually be president?

Please also note my use of the conditional "if" instead of a more arrogant and presumptive "when" in reference to Obama's win in November. I am not antagonizing you; I'm merely curious.

Really, if people like Annie could just shut the fuck up for one minute with the "I told you so" and allow everyone this week to try on Obama he'd have a much better chance in the general.

so @ 20 - it's a little early - so maybe you didn't understand that annie was gloating about correctly predicting which way the WA supers would fall, not about obama. don't look for trouble where this is none - there's enough when you don't look for it.
