City Cynthia McKinney In Town Tonight to Talk About Police Misconduct
posted by on June 12 at 13:20 PM
The Seattle NAACP is holding a meeting on police accountability tonight at the Rainier Beach Community Center and former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney will be in attendance to talk about cops and—maybe—9/11 conspiracies and her run for president as the Green Party candidate.

The meeting starts at 7pm.
I hope the Stranger and the NAACP realize that the good Congresswoman is, and lets be fair, completely insane.
She's got the crazy eyes!
Cynthias grilling of Rumsfeld might be the best attempt of any congress person trying to hold anyone accountable in the Bush adminstration.

She's black, so I'll go. I hope there aren't any white people.
Um...go to Wikipedia, search "controversies" and enjoy.

Someone who completely overreacted during a confrontation with Capitol Police is going to talk about police accountability. Great.
Can we get voting breakdowns to see if any white people, or black with HS diplomas or better, voted for her? One of the craziest and stupidest people to ever be sworn into office. Bet she believes Jesus was black too. Maybe she can run on a ticket with Jeremiah Wright.
The current holder of the craziest and stupidest Rep goes to Maxine Waters of CA. Watching her speak in any committee meeting is painful. It's almost as if she doesn't even get briefed for anything.
(BTW: I am very, very, very pro black women. I am just very, very ,very anti-psycho chick.)

If your coverage of this important event could focus more on the experiences of everyday people in Seattle struggling to resist police harassment and abuse, rather than on personality politics, it would be appreciated.
@9 You are at the wrong blog
Gee, Trevor, that's a great idea. Why haven't we ever written about police misconduct before?
I hope they taze the bitch.
McKinney for President! She'll be the dumbest president since George W. Bush.
Maybe she can help us get rid of all the meth-choads and crack-heads that infest Seattle. Oh, who am I kidding!
