And the majority of Sloggers under the age of 40 immediately run to Google and type in C-y-d....

2# - You're probably right. I'm one of them, and I only knew of her within the last few months when I saw this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gB0UNey-Uk
And was struck by the woman in the red dress (3:50).

She'll be missed!

Hey, Michael. I'm under 40 and I sent Dan the video. But I'm really a 60 year old gay man in the body of a 32 year old. Off to find my caftan.

If it wasn't for google, who would SLOG obsess over?

Now, Cyd is a far greater loss to humanity than that other guy you wanked out about yesterday ...

I can't remember when I first saw The Band Wagon but I'll always remember her. God I loved her legs!

Good call, P to the J -- she's spectacular in Brigadoon. Well, she was spectacular when she was doing her laundry, I imagine. Those are what you call GAMS.

Hey, I'm only (only?) 27 and the Broadway Rhythm/Melody sequence from Singin' in the Rain is still imprinted in my memory. I grew up on that shit.

Sorry, I should have typed the majority of STRAIGHT Sloggers...

She was beautiful and charming and she could dance but she couldn't act her way out of a tissue paper bag. After watching her (act) in "Silk Stockings" you immediately have to go watch "Ninotchka" to get the bad taste out of your mouth as you swoon over Garbo...
