I'd be much more interested in who or what "Veritas Federal Media" (the sponsor of the event) is, than what the NPC is hosting in one of their facilities.

Personally (on the strength of this Slog post) I sent the firedoglake petition to 4 people before I bothered finding out that the brouhaha is over a slimy private party trumped up as an Important Event.

At least I wrote my friends later to say "ignore the trolls."
