??!! Black Helicopters!

In a post titled “Preparations For the DNC ? Military Excersie (sic) Drills in Denver,” We Are Change Colorado, the Denver chapter of a nationwide 9/11 Truth group, has a video reporting on black helicopters that are flying over Denver.
It begins with an in-depth study of a 5-year-old child’s drawings of helicopters (“Wow, that’s frightening,” one of the Truthers says), continues with some Truth guys acting like they’re in the first half of some sort of paramilitary Blair Witch Project, uncovering the secrets of these helicopters, and goes on from there. Confusingly, a soldier throws a glow-stick wrapped in an American flag at the Truthers. They theorize about this glow-stick in their blog:
Now whether or not this glow stick meant we just got ‘fragged’ by a drill grenade, or if it was just a friendly gesture by our boys in the military is unknown, but coming with in feet of our position you can rest assured they are deadly accurate from that height.
The local news sources say that the black helicopters are part of an anti-terrorism test. Truthers theorize that…well…that they’re going to do something nasty at the Democratic National Convention. Of course, when the black helicopters don’t sweep in and abduct Barack Obama, the Truthers will find another reason for the helicopters. No doubt it’s all tied in to…9/11 (cue melodramatic music now)!

This post just reminds me of breathless callers reporting various revelations and conspiracies on the Art Bell show.
It wouldn't surprise me if the flag-wrapped glow stick was an intentionally random (but portentous) act, just to see what new conspiracy theory twist it might provoke.

It would be silly for the military not to practice ahead of the convention because honestly who knows what kind of crazy shit might go down, after all the convention organizers are running way behind on the budget so there could be appetizer riots. And, they aren't serving fried foods so delegates from the deep fried states might take up arms.

Does anyone have a timeline that can show us when exactly the Truthers got coopted by the kook right-wing militia types? That black helicopter stuff is so 1992. What's next, complaining about the New World Order (tm)? Are you sure those aren't UN helicopters? Or CANADIAN helicopters?
Not that it's surprising. Any "movement" that stupid and that disorganized and that scattershot in its ideas is bound to be coopted by somebody.
Will, I think shining a laser pointer at a military helicopter on exercises is going to get you in a lot more trouble than a glow stick. I'm not sure how much more, but I would like you to try it so we can find out.

I love that the clear, to-be-developed lot by my apartment is a "holding grounds" to these kooks. Sure, seeing guys with machine guns flying over my apartment was scary, but these people have watched way too many x-files episodes.

They've been having temper tantrums about the New World Order for years. Probably about 2003 they decided to merge with their intellectual equals in the "guvment's bad" movements. Also, many think Waco was a false flag with McVey being a fall guy or CIA agent to try to preemptively stop them from seeking the truth. Or something.
