Is there any way that the city could arrange to package Mayor Nickels, Slade Gorton, Steve Balmer and everyone else involved in this enormous, money-wasting fiasco to be packaged up with the Sonics for Bennett to bring along to OKC?

So Josh, now you're a courts reporter, downgraded from Darcy Burner's flak in residence?

Have you and Dan Savage made up? Did you walk on your stumpy knees?

To clarify, the nutjob @2 is not me. I could care less about internal Stranger staff gossip, speculation, or innuendo, no matter how unlikely and/or fictional.

"Judge Pechman says she will post her decision next Wednesday at 4pm.

Hopefully she’ll ignore all this side drama and focus on the real question here"

Interesting statement by a reporter who's spent an awful lot of column space the last two weeks puffing up the "side drama." Or is the issue of whose lawyers seem "snippier" in the courtroom actually part of "the real question here"?

Good to see Slade Gorton continuing to incompetently fumble Washingtonians' best interests. The guy's still got it!

of course the city's attempts to force a sale failed: WALLY WALKER WAS INVOLVED.

again: the sonics will pay off the key arena debt, leave the name here, and high themselves hence unto the dustbowl. this year.

and i will finally be cured of any infatuation with pro sports.
