The FDA one is bullshit. The FDA has a 15 year trial cycle that STILL doesnt work properly. The FDA holds back drugs, limits the sizes of trials, excludes people from trials, etc etc. It's totally fucked that someone cant even get experimental drugs voluntarily because it would invalidate the trial process.

I like the concept a lot, and think this is 80% there. It could be tightened, and strengthened by some better writing.

I only watched a portion of it, but I saw pretty much ALL horseshit. Republicans want class sizes to be bigger? That's just ridiculous. There are so many reasons to go after them, and you picked THESE? Lame.

Hmmm. Horse Shit. Sure. I saw exaggeration, maybe a touch of hyperbole, but the vast majority of that ad was entirely accurate.

@ 6 Republicans believe in ability grouping and tracking. they endorse racist programs like Success For All and enact unsound legislation like No Child Left Behind (that they don't actually FUND, of course) that result in classes of 30+ kids. because, you know, the teacher can just separate the kids into "smart, intermediate, and dumb" (or just "white and brown" to make it simple) and then teach to the smart kids. the rest of the kids are just going to end up homeless or in jail anyway.

they also routinely pull education funding (see arnold and california or bush and texas) and make it even more difficult for teachers to complete teacher training programs without acquiring massive debt. then they hold teachers accountable for their 3rd grade students' inability to do well on decontextualized, socioeconomically biased tests.

I LOVE this video. How do we get independents and Republicans on the run from their party who have ruined the economy. That's the issue for them-- not most of the issues raised in the film. It's us humanists and adults who care about clean air, freedom, good schools and peace. Many blind supporters of a unitary executive and corporate government don't like choices or thinking for themselves. They feel "cozier" with father-figures who make the decisions that we're not supposed to question. They're in denial that these authoritarians believe in war, torture, rape (what's the % of young boys, girls, and women molested and raped by older male predators?), racism, sexism, and the jingoism of American right or wrong. God is on their side-- a God of hatred and fear. Luckily they're in the minority. Ultimately the message is "vote in 2008". I agree. The Democrats are disgusting in their spinelessness, but at least they can be moved to act morally.

Its all Bush's fault...he is to blame for everything...remember 9/11 and how we all felt ...wait, I forgot Bush was the cause of that...he and his crew secretly took the towers down. Rebublicans suck...they have done no good for our country!
