Books Viral Non-Porn

Here is the MySpace page for Cassie Wright, the porn-star main character of Snuff, Chuck Palahniuk’s new novel. Palahniuk will be reading at Town Hall on May 20th. On the MySpace page, there’s a video trailer for a fake movie, called The Wizard of Ass, starring the fake porn star. It’s also a trailer for the book. I’m not going to embed the video here, because, well, gross.
Also on the MySpace page is a list of fictional movies that the fictional Cassie Wright has starred in, with titles that have already been used in actual porn movies like On Golden Blonde and The Da Vinci Load. There’s also a message from Chuck Palahniuk himself:
Hey all,Just Top Friended you. Let’s get this page some hits. Cassie deserves it.
It’s authors like Palahniuk that make me proud to have devoted my life to literature. That is all.
Pahlaniuk and literature don't belong in the same sentence unless "hack" is used as a modifier. God, how painful it is to watch my 17 year old hipster son going through his Chuck is so cool phase. I think it's almost over. It's a sad rite of passage for kids these days.
Shut up douche!!! What fascinating literary works do you read that are so above criticism? God forbid anyone publish anything that doesn't meet Bob's standards!! I bet you are one of the idiots who believes anything popular = crap. Not liking something because others do is just as bad as liking it for the same reason. Douche!!!
At least they aren't into number one best sellers written at a fourth grading level. I DESPISE JAMES PATTERSON!

I should really double check my posts... Oh and I was wondering if you noticed the abundance of palahniuk-esque (dark romantic stuff) lit coming from the pacific northwest. it's definitely plentiful.

I know it's "just porn", but porn movies are subject to copyright, too. If those titles have been used for real movies, why is he stealing them again for fake ones.
Sorry fanboy but I've read 3 Chuck novels and a short story. He's not literature. He's a whopper without cheese.
McSweeney's internet had a killer Pahlaniuk parody. If I wasn't so lazy I'd hunt it down and link to it.
