It is strange to think that a Hamas which respects an American president is much more dangerous to the ordinary American than a Hamas that hates an American president.... If people (in Hamas or in the US) think Obama will have the resolve to seriously challenge Israel on its illegal occupation, its illegal settlements, its illegal wall, its illegal use of torture, etc, they're dreaming. There isn't enough pressure on him from within the US to do that. And he's shown himself to be a highly risk averse politician. But hell. Any Democrat is better than Bush, so long as we don't confuse the Democrats with lefty politics.

Repubs are really just hoping for knee-jerk idiot reaction to this, is there some chance Americans will get smart to this b.s.? Saw Rove on Fox while flipping, and he's acting like he did in 2006. I'm hoping that's a sign they are out of ideas on how to fool people.
