she is hot hot hot... and even hot without the adams family pushed up nose that leaves us all feeling a little less like trixy spotters...

you know those little places on the corners of our sleepy little towns where you can find bandeleros and mugabbes with action cards and wheat to store....

wheat like wheat paper and scratchless glass and old clean graffiti-less bricks.

fuck... if i wasn't such a hoodlum...

....i might not be such a street-corner nanny goose... ( don't forget to add the offensive lisp at goose will 'ya big boys and mean girls????)

Have you seen Black Snake Moan? It will only amplify your Ricci crush. She is hot, and she can act also.

Ricci and Rose McGowen are the two hottest and sexiest women in Hollywood.

I might see this movie just for her and the petty colors.

Scott Porter (Rex) was totally hot. I had no expectations going into the movie so it was basically bubble gum entertainment. The dialog was awful but the bright trippy colors made me happy. My 6 year old liked it well enough.

She is hot.

But, third place for a movie when Iron Man is in the Top Ten Biggest Cash Haul for Opening Weekend ... is not bad.

It's just bad in comparison.

Still a highly fun trip - go see it in IMAX, you really should - and hallucinogens won't add to the trip, so don't bother.

Ricci totally does it for me. Even at her least glamorous, she's totally got that girl-next-door thing going on.

This picture:

in a somewhat recent Entertainment Weekly left me speechless for a bit. She's kind of cartoonish, but in a good way.

I saw her at the movies once. She was kind of cute. Her boobs are large relative to a small body. I don't think you'd go crazy if you saw her in person. Then again, I thought Anna Kournakova was just above average at the US open (nice bumb in jeans though).

I agree about Ricci, very hot. Also, being a huge fan of the cartoon when growing up, I was totally stoked to go see this movie.

Then I watched the trailer, and vowed to never see it. In fact from here on out I will refuse to acknowlege this movie's existence.

It's not a live action move, it's not a cartoon, it's neither...or maybe both. Granted I can't opine on the plot or acting having seen only 4 minutes of footage, but if that 4 minutes was the TRAILER designed to get me into it, the rest must be worse.

Save some money, go watch season 1 of the cartoon on hulu.com for free.

Whatever happened to that Prozac Nation movie? Did it ever come out?

Prozac Nation is available on DVD.

What's wrong with being hot for Christina Ricci?

There is this puppy dog love I have for her for some sick reason.

AND she can act!

Thanks Ed! Off to the library!

Whatever, I love getting lost in economics when I'm stoned.

@ Everyone: When I was younger, I thought she was cute before she lost all the weight and, I believe, had an eating disorder. Now she's kind of scary-skinny, especially with the big moon face and the boobs. I just want to feed her cookies.

@ Garth: This is your movie. Seriously. Go, now.

The Wachowski Brothers need good script and film editors.

For real, be a man. You don't have to get permission from your gay or feminist coworkers and friends. Enjoy that erection and don't feel guilty about it. Is this what happens when a young man works in a feminized environment?

@16 Paul, you can feed me cookies and I'll take care of that erection for you.

Oh, oops, I forgot I'm not your stalker anymore...Sorry.

She's certainly the queen of 5-feet tall.

Ugh, her five-head is horrifying.

What is wrong with dudes, that they find that attractive?

Fucking a cereal box...

I'd like to start my morning with a bowl of Christina Ricci. She's a part of a complete nutritious breakfast!

@22 Actually, I think that's what does it in this movie. She has bangs covering her forehead and it totally works.

I went yesterday because I loved Speed Racer as a kid (still occasionally watch the Japanese version on DVD) and my kids begged me to go. Ugh, big mistake. Not only did I have to explain corporate mergers and acqusitions to my children so that they could understand what the fuck was going on, they had nightmares all night long because the visuals and sound are so overwhelming. The plot of the Matrix sequels made more sense. Imagine a violent sociopath scripting the animated "Cars" with live actors. Still, I thought the actors all did a great job for what they were given. And Rain is a hottie.

Thanks for the details, gay dad - sounds even MORE fun than I thought! Nothing like a good economics primer to keep one interested!

Yes she's hot.

The Opposite of Sex -- hot and funny, too.

Best opening scene -- voiceover describing mom's funeral in Louisiana.....shot shows her throwing ciggie into grave before they dump the dirt in, then she turns and stalks away.

Huh, that sounds a lot like what lots of people (myself included) were saying after seeing her in Sleepy Hollow.

She was probably also irresistibly hot in Pecker, too, but no one saw that.

I have a little theory that for some reason, busty, grown-up child stars who make their mark in a light-haired role to start out with end up more successful than the ones associated with dark hair. Lohan, Scarlett Johansson on the light-haired side of the ledger: Ricci and Birch on the dark.
