@Video -- Hagee kept eye-checking audience response while "praying". Quelle douchebag.

Why are Eli Sanders posts always so negative

I'm an idiot. It wasn't Hagee. Who's the "Reverend"?

Hillary looks like she's enjoyed a little too much bourbon in that 2nd photo. In the article I read this morning about it the reporter talked about how Clinton's gone from sipping juice at the start of the campaign to knocking back hard liquor these days. It sounds like she's got a problem.

Tell me again why we do not tax churches?

Seriously, what's so inflamatory about a partisan pastor? They're all over the place for evey political disposition and religion.

Will Geraldine Ferraro ever stop embarrassing herself?

@7

It's depressing. Ferraro isn't alone. It is kind of interesting to see them trot out arguments that failed back when they were relevant, and would fail now if anyone still cared enough to refute them (e.g. you're elitist if you went to Columbia and Harvard Law School and married to a Princeton-Harvard Law grad, but not if you went to Wellesley and Yale and married a Rhodes Scholar).

Dead enders.

She's lost her mind. She's going to have a bunch of academics STUDY whether Obama is sexist? Why not have harvard STUDY whether Bush is racist? It's just not that objective. They're also going to study journalists (yet again) and suggest ethical standards (yet again.) Good luck with that. Pick your place, political or ivory tower puffery, they won't mix.

Hey why don't we have a harvard "center" study how exactly Obama played the "race card." What the hell? The fact is that sexism is more openly displayed but it's also more openly discussed. Obama can't talk about racism against him because no one wants to hear it.

Besides which is she daft? Who gives a shit about academic studies that are paid for and commissioned by partisans? I wonder what it'll say?

Ferraro is carrying water for "If you're white you can't open your mouth without being accused of being racist."

Fuck her. Hillary's campaign has made me seen more racism in older white women then I've ever known and it's really depressing me. (Of course my Mom is an older white woman and my Dad is black, but my point isn't about "all" in any event.)

Here's the upshot. This is a tough campaign. People are VERY emotional and invested in their campaign. People are hardly being reasoned or rational. Remember Carville calling Richardson a Judas and sitcking to it? Many Hillary supporters are absolutely playing up sexism beyond where it exists. Check out reclusiveleftist.com and read more by Erica's buddy. They're upset about "She's likeable enough" among other things. I saw that debate. What a bunch of space cadets. It was pretty clearly an expression of contempt for the stupidity of the line of questioning. And Obama is not required to come out and kiss her ass and schedule a press conference to say she's extremely likeable and the press asking about likability is sexist anyway.

Crazy pastors are sooooo passe (and like, sooo early 2008). It's all about crazy superdelagates now. People need to get with the times. Yeesh.

There's a big difference between a partisan pastor and a bigoted, hate filled, race baitng pastor.

From the Ferraro op-ed:

They're not upset with Obama because he's black; they're upset because they don't expect to be treated fairly because they're white. It's not racism that is driving them, it's racial resentment.

Jesus Christ.

Shut up, Geraldine. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut your fucking trap.

I guess we should cut her some slack. She's been reverse discriminated against after all.
