From Sexual Happiness in Marriage: A Christian Interpretation of Sexual Adjustment in Marriage, by Herbert J. Miles, Ph. D. Copyright 1967.

When materialistic theories are applied to marriage and sexuality, many weird ideas evolve. Since man is essentially an animal, love is said to be nothing more than sex desire. Sex is only an expression of the flesh. Health requires that the sex desire be satisfied immediately after puberty. When a man chooses a wife, he simply selects a good sex partner. Extra-marital sex relationships are normal. When sex attraction no longer exists between husband and wife, divorce is in order. There is no such thing as sexual delinquency, so long as one person does not force another. The way to solve the problem of children being born out of wedlock, is to give 13-year-old boys and girls full access to contraceptives and train them how to use them. In case there should be pre-marital pregnancy, abortion is advocated…. Sex is said to be a private matter. Private sexual behavior is said to be none of society’s business.

It wold be rather difficult to collect a greater set of falsehoods into one system than is found in these ideas. This system advocates standard barnyard morality. Put into practice, it would take civilization back to the jungle.

Clinton and Obama are going to combine coffers? Isn't she in debt $20 million? So shouldn't this be "Obama pays off Clinton's debt?"

"Put into practice, it would take civilization back to the jungle"

Am I the only person who started to sing "Welcome to the Jungle!"

I love it when conservatives describe my lifestyle and all I can do is smile. :-)

@2:

For me it was, "Bungle In The Jungle" by Jethro Tull.

Probably a generational thing...

I believe she has a general election fund that is as of yet untapped and which can't be used to pay off her primary election debt. It's from all those high donors who already maxed out to her for both the general and the primary, you get to hit the limit for each.

Also her primary debt is going to have to be paid by herself (plus her spouse_ if she doesn't raise the money by a date coming up soon.

the talk of Obama paying her debt is pretty silly given she and Bill can go raise millions anytime they want. Say she loses. That's another book deal worth a few million right there.

As far as pooling their coffers goes, it's just part of the whole approach that if you have two leading forces unifying them is better than dividing them.

Yesterday we saw a post claiming Oregon proves Obaam gets white votes. Well, yes of course he does. But so does she and even in Oregon "Obama leads 45 percent to 41 percent with 8 percent undecided and 6 percent refusing a response, according to a Suffolk University survey released this morning. An American Research Group survey puts Obama's lead at 50 percent to 45 percent."

40 percent, 45 percent, 47 percent, whatever, she's got a ton of support. She is on the short list.

Not sure of the amount of her general election fund but it might be 20 million?

I don't think any other single person can make a $20 million contribution to the ticket.

Maybe the Obama folks would realize she would want the ticket to win, if she makes that contribution?

How about I give my children comprehensive sex education, and you tell yours that baby Jesus cries when they masturbate, and we'll see which ones turn out best. Hmm?

Herd in the barnyard:

"Well I firmly believe sex to be a private matter, and fully support our kids' access to contraception. Baaaaaaaa."

MyBallard.com is reporting about a camperfire in Ballard (link below). Anyone know if this is the camper donated to that loser "Squirrelman"?

Anybody heard from Steven Bloom lately? Last I heard, he was studying in South Africa. Can't remember if it was Johannesburg or Cape Town though.
