Right now based on these polls -- an authority often quoted by Obama himself, we know they're just snapshots blah blah blah -- Obama is Not Ahead.

What to do to win????????????????? There's been a campaign now with him in the national limelight for several months. After the convention we only have two months to change these numbers. We need to see some positive movement now.

Oh, yes, he can go work CO NM NV VA NC etc. too. but we want a 50 state strategy right?

Seat FL MI, corral HRC and her folks get 'em on board helping, prevent her from having a power base in the Senate to fuck up his legislation, continue with his change/hope message, unite the Dem. base and reach out. Lay out the 100 days of change agenda and get key congressional leaders on board already. Use the superdelegate desire to hitch to his coatails to demand something of them -- all congressmen/women are supers -- that they bow to his legislative program and say so now.

Btw he will speak at noon today to rip into Bush and lay out his diplomacy + strength approach to foreign policy -- responding to GWB's invoking appeasement/Hitler -- very big opportunity for BHO to reframe it all
and link McCain to Bush.
