I don't have a date, but I'm pretty sure WV was called for Clinton some time ago, possibly as soon as Edwards suspended his campaign.
What the hell is a palce?
Whatever it takes to get the "In my mind, I'm going to Carolina" song out of my head.
Will Jubilation T. Cornball be here to kvetch on the results with us, Eli?
The Toots and the Maytals version of that song is great.
"It's a world of laughter, a world of tears, a world of hopes and a world of fears, there's so much that we share, that its time we're aware, it's a small world after all."
That song always works for me when I'm trying to dislodge another song from my brain. Which is strange because it is the world's most annoying song.
I'm glad I have no idea of whether or not there are any Election Watch parties tonite.
Which is a very very good sign that it's over, thank FSM.
Thanks for that, and may I now offer the following:
Here he comes,
Here comes Speed Racer,
He's a demon on wheels...
Well, at least she has toned down her campaign rhetoric. That, to me, is the real sign that she knows Obama has the numbers. She had to keep campaigning, since everyone knew she was easily going to win WV. But she has stopped the worst of the party-dividing attacks. She knows in a couple of weeks she will have to start mending fences. My guess is that she will drop out after Obama trounces her in Oregon.
Oh, and thanks, Eli. Now I've got that goddamned John Denver song stuck in my head too. :-/
Hillary does well in West Va. due to all of the HillBillys, you silly.
The Clinton's had John Denver killed.
He's dead?
clinton will do well because the state has a very high percentage of ignorant rascists who are also, amazingly, democrats. she should reject & denounce this primary.
