suicide indeed. this may be really difficult for a lot of clinton fans to understand, but the whole point of voting for obama was to keep the clintons as far away from the white house as possible. it *might* appease clinton's base (although many of them seem to think the nomination is hillary's birthright. anything less than the no. 1 slot probably wouldn't satisfy them), but alienate almost everybody else.

Obama's VP choice will be a white male southerner who's demonstrably a smidge to his right on a few showy but unimportant issues. Jim Webb, or someone very much like him in other words.

it would be dumb as fuck. appease-tastic doesn't even begin to describe it. It would be paradoxical and probably the most insane thing to ever happen, ever, were it to happen. It would be lke Superman and Lex Luthor moving to Cali and getting married, but worse in every way.
