Last week, my boyfriend had Maple Walnut and Salted Caramel; I had Cardamom and Honey Lavender. We've read several Yelp reviews complaining about saltiness and the how expensive the scoops were. That having been said, we really enjoyed both of our selections, and thought that the scoop size was generous and adequate. The esthetic of the place was really cool. The people complaining about Molly Moon's are probably also the same ones who gripe about Cupcake Royale. ;-)

It amuses me that the people who don't have easy access to Wallingford are assumed to have easy access to Cap Hill. Heh.

But you can get Salted Caramel Haagen Dasz at QFC.

My dear Schmader:

First, MANCHESTER UNITED ARE CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!!!

Second, I, too, attended the clean and well-lighted place known as Molly Moon's and sampled -- sampled -- the salted caramel.

And thank Christ for that.

Not since my sixth previous life when I was a deer (according to a drunk Dutch chick who regressed me for weed in college), have I licked so much salt in one bite. I passed.

And, Schmader, as if we were the same person, sharing some kind of psychic fistula between our beings, I, too, had a scoop of Vivace Coffee and the Strawberry Balsamic.

Have you EVER cum that hard? Man...I hope they can make that for diabetics because no one should miss that experience. Thanks for the original post/tip.

I went last night to try the Salted Caramel and Thai Ice Tea Ice Cream.
The salted caramel was a bit too salty for my taste but the Thai Ice Tea flavor was good.
The Vanilla Bean Caramel, Whipped Cream and Sour Cherry topping were amazing. Hand whipped cream all organic- very good. Thanks for the tip.
The Gray Salt Caramels are my new favorite!
thanks, David.

@9 -- Ahhh, I get it. Well mate, as much as I regret spoiling the game's result, news from the world of sport -- and one of its signature events -- does not hang on your Tivo schedule.

I can only apologize, and have no doubt that, aside from the result, you will enjoy every surprise today's game had to offer.

winning a game on penalty kicks is the number 1 reason why Soccer, yes, SOCCER, sucks. no real sport should end in a tie then proceed to a shootout system. it's cheap + doesn't actually reflect who the best team were that day.

PENALTY KICKS are no way to decide a game!

All games in which ManU participate should be decided with a revolver with six bullets in the chamber. Start with Christie and Rooney. Fuck, I hate you bastards. Fucking scum bastards. Chelsea's no better, but I didn't want you to get that double.

Fnarf: Please don't shoot Rooney until he and I have made sweet, sweet love. He's a dreamboat.

Not to spoil the jock-tastic fun, but here's another thing to try...

Oliver's Twist

Chocolate Ice Cream, Caramel, and Sea Salt deliciousness. I much prefer it over Molly Moon's ice cream. Awwwwww yeah.

@14 - are you INSANE? He looks like a troll doll. He looks like he never fully developed as a human and emerged from the womb as a half-embryo, and grew that way. Good God, man, his head looks like a giant thumb!

All is forgiven, Jubilation. I did enjoy most of the surprises up until Ronaldo's missed PK was, also, ultimately forgiven. I wonder what promises he was making with his head buried in the turf. Think he'll keep them?

As long as he wasn't speaking on a telephone to the Bernabeu in the pitch, I am at peace.

And thank you for forgiving me. I do apologize and am pleased you enjoyed the game.

CAMPIONES!!!!! CAMPIONES!!!!!!!

Wayne Rooney is rough trade. Way, way, WAY hot rough trade.

But for my money, I'd be sucking the socks off Owen Hargreaves.

Tofu is correct; I remember long ago in my Ivy League days, where Penn (yay) and Cornell were the good teams; Draw-scores had a long chain of statistical tiebreakers to avoid stupid-ass Penalty Kicks. The first tiebreaker was the number of Corner Kicks.

The Salted Caramel was too salty. I like the idea, but I felt like I was eating a pretzel flavored ice cream. I liked the Vanilla Bean, the Vivace Coffee needs more coffee. The Cardamom was amazing.

Count me in the "too salty" camp. A shame that MM hasn't quite gotten it right--their salted caramel is predominantly salty, w/an undertone of sweetness, rather than vice versa. Thought the balsamic strawberry was good, but it wasn't all that. Still, I'm glad to see real ice cream in town.
