I'm going shopping for 1 outfit, including shoes, that I'll probably only wear today. I love sunny days.

Considering I'm female, it's more like girl power.

What is it about sunny weather that makes a boy want to take their shirt off?

Whatever it is, I love it.

Unless you have excessive back hair.

I love it too. That was one of my favorite things about working in coffeeshops - when the weather got warm, the ogling was plentiful.

I cut through Seattle U on my lunch break and thought the exact same thing.

Very much so! My neck might take weeks to heal from all the whiplash/rubbernecking I was engaged in. (I was in Capitol Hill, Magnolia, U-District and the Internation District. Lovelies are everywhere!)

Sadly, not much in the way of beefcake, only a guy in his 60's out for a jog with no shirt.

I don't know... ever since Lin's piece, I'm afraid all those gorgeous Seattle women have choads.

@12 A female? Didn't you mean to say "Ari Spool is female?" or have women been relegated to livestock status since I last checked?

When the weather first starts getting warm, I love how Seattlites pretend to be all mellow when inside I'm pretty sure they're jubilantly chanting, "Sun! Sun! Sun! Sun!" Or maybe that's just me.

Now, if the weather would just hold through the Memorial Day weekend camping trip ...

I guess I'll have to take your word for it. I'm on Beacon Hill, and there are no young women on Beacon Hill.

This post would have been funnier if Mudade had written it.

I'm making "Ari Spool is a Girl" t-shirts and selling them for $19.95....

I'll donate the proceeds to the "Save the Porn at The Eagle" Fund.

You all looked pretty hot yesterday too. I don't know where these beautiful women hide all winter, but Seattle does have them.

Did anyone notice that the Observer article about Williamsburg mentioned friends who moved to Seattle and needed to use Craigslist to meet anyone? Don't be those people, feel free to show as much skin as you're comfortable with and be a little ongoing for once.

Also, the flickr pool women who think they're being naughty, you look good but you need to up your game (please see lastnightsparty.com).

Wow, Ari is a girl, big surprise to me. However, such a great observation. As a a hetero guy, I always love spring in seattle. It's so much better than just the weather changes... Keep it up girls!!!

What happens is that stores start selling spring clothes in, oh, January. So. Those of us who enjoy such things have a bunch of new stuff that we are dying to wear. The second the sun comes out, we want to put it on and show off. Thanks for noticing! :)
