On the Radio

posted by on May 9 at 12:10 PM

I’m now in Eugene waiting for Obama’s event here later today. While I wait, I’ll be phoning in to KUOW’s The Conversation to talk about the Democratic race.

That’s 94.9 FM starting at 1 p.m.

More posts and pictures from my time so far in Oregon can be clicked to here.

And, if you want to read about appearances in and around Portland by Clinton and Obama this morning, head on over to our sister blog, Blogtown PDX.

(Note to self: remind Eli Sanders that Eugene's big school is the University of Oregon = Duckville, and not "Oregon State University"- down the road in Corvallis- as "Beaver-friendly " a town as one is likely to find, in Oregon...) ^..^

Heard you on NPR during my lunchtime walk - good balance in your comments, and congrats for fairly effectively sidestepping the question about whether you support Obama just because The Stranger does (i.e., that you are a reporter and personally uncommitted). Your comment that months ago we were able to do what Oregon just now is doing was particularly perceptive - it is hard to begrudge voters from having a say and seeing the candidates, even this late in the primary season, when we just want it to be over. In total, a very good interview.

I guess gay men can't tell Ducks from Beavers. (Figured out who Greg Palast is yet?)

Isn't he that stringer for the Mariners we just traded to Walla Walla?
