Actually, a trach isn't that hard to do. It's getting the courage to make that cut that's the tough part.

Well, I admits I didn't read the article, but by any chance was the need for a tracheotomy do to, say, an infected tongue piercing? Compared to some things people do to themselves, a trach sounds pretty tame, I'd certainly do a self-tracheotomy before a Prince Albert OW, OW, OW, Don't look! NSFW!!!
