...idiotic questions former radicals and former pastors and all manner of irrelevant things,

Actually, they are very relevant. Americans elect presidents based on how they feel about the candidate, not solely from an evaluation of their latest stump speeches. Since Obama has limited experience in politics, and therefore limited wisdom, the electorate is left to evaluate his candidacy based on his judgment. There's no getting around evaluating his judgment when it comes to Reverend Wright and his associations with former radicals. You can't just dismiss these questions because their irritating and are speed bumps to his possible presidency. In fact, Obama has said as much that his association with Reverend Wright is a legitimate political question.

@2: The working class, of course! Also, me. I don't even have cable.

@4: If you think "limited experience in politics" equates to "limited wisdom," you clearly have not spent enough time paying attention to politics. Anyway, Obama's held elected office longer than Hillary Clinton. And we've all heard plenty about Jeremiah Wright. Now how about that gas tax holiday?

This NYT article says that people are buying smaller cars now. Which suggests that voters are not too stupid to help themselves out of the gas crunch. And perhaps they even appreciate a candidate who doesn't pander to them. I bet George Snuffleupagus won't ask her about that, though.

MSNBC reruns Meet the Press a couple times 0n Sunday. Once at 3pm and once at midnight (or 11pm...I can't remember) and maybe once in between.

ABC needs to get it's own 24 hour cable news network.

And does anyone watch CBS's Face The Nation? I think it's on at 5 in the morning.
