Soccer ain't rugby. Two, er, three different things. No soccer team would ever do this. And in the rugby world, this is probably the mildest thing the Aussies have ever done to mark a loss or a win. No dwarves were hurled, no buildings burned down, no pubs were drunk dry and then smashed, no airplanes crashed.

Quick fun fact about Vilnius: There is a bar there called 'Batmanus,' which features giant paper mache Batmans hanging from the ceiling in various action poses. And it is totally a gay bar.

I wish they were Australian. Usually I shrink in embarrassment from the more football jock-type behaviour of my countrymen, but this filled my heart with joy. I did suspect it was inaccurate when you mentioned the 48-0 score.
Imagine if all of our international figures were made to perform embarrassing, self-mocking dances for our entertainment after every failure?

if there were offended ppl, i couldn't see it: the camera was whirling too fast around to clearly see any of the audience members' faces.

didn't especially offend me. i am a little concerned about that kid being near them towards the end of the video there.

It's completely inappropriate what they did. Not only should they be sanction they should be arrested for public indecency.

Why would they assume humiliating themselves in public was the best response for a humiliating defeat. This immediate resorting to self-debasement is not a good or positive mentality.
