"War hero". . . you know, why DO we talk about him being a POW as though he did something really special? He didn't WANT to be a POW. Hero? He didn't throw himself on a grenade to save his buddies. He was captured and detained.

Anyway.

Wait, why is "war hero" in quotes? Look, I may totally disagree with John McCain US Senator and presidential candidate, but let's not swift boat him. He served his country, and I've never seen any reason he doesn't deserve the appelation.

Oh I see, it's part of the title for the blog. Nevermind, Paul. Carry on.

@7:

he denounced his country under torture. that's NOT heroism.

dropping bombs on vietnamese villages is also not heroic.

let's save "hero" for people who do shit like see a woman drive off the deception pass bridge, stop their car, run down the cliff, dive into the water, & pull her out of her car. that happened.

Can someone point me to something funny on that site? Maybe the jokes just seem played-out to me because I've seen so many episodes of The Golden Girls.

The whole punchline of the site seems to be, "GAWD, old people, you sure are old!" Ha, ha.
