Just the slightest bit of research would have revealed that the Clntons raised a lot of money for Jim's legal defense fund. They were there for Jim when Jim needed them, which is entirely praiseworthy.

So Jim couldn't exactly throw them under the bus before this race had been decided, could he?

Jim's declaration comes before the convention, and it helps wrap things up before then. So please quit the nitpicking and the whining.

Also the idea that McDermott lacks balls because he waited till the race is over is yet another bit of malicious stereotyping by the evil Clinton campaign. Obviously, like all the other undecided superdelegates, who are the same Democrats who can't cut off funds in Congress to stop the war, McDermott is a profile in courage with his brave decision to wait till Obama has it sewn up.

We need more brave, strong Democrats just like him-- people who know how to lead, not just follow.
