All you need to do is say they won't print it, and they'll print/post it.

Zing!

Isn't it funny-strange how people who hold something in print or on TV in disdain continue to be drawn to it? If he dislikes L'Étranger, stop reading it.

gee, how do you refute a point like that? PS when it says "I'm sure you won't print this" its gotta be a good sign not to bother printing it.

I mean, of course, he should stop reading it.

Yeah, and somebody's holding a gun to your head forcing you to read this stuff too, right. Asswipe. Go read fucking Reader's Digest or something else that doesnt offend your delicate sensibilities.

I like to think of it as augmenting racism and sexism, rather than replacing them.

B. Parker is only trying to say that even though he wrote in his Stranger Personal ad "white man, Christian and straight" and he would like you to replace those words for him so it says "Gay, Gay and Gay." Is that so much to ask?

i wonder exactly how you "oppress" him and other str8t ppl? he doesn't make that clear, does he?

surely it's possible to criticize the stranger in a coherent and persuasive fashion. next time, hozabout printing one of those? it would be more enlightening and challenging. this is just poking fun at a nimrod.

Isn't funny how someone who rails against people as victims (of racism and sexism) clings so tightly to his own personal victimhood status.

Whenever I see this sort of anti-gay vitriol expressed, I assume the ranter is in the closet.

Further evidence that white, male, heterosexual conservative Christians are the biggest self-victimizing whiners of all.

I wonder if he can't find a job because of all the queer, pagan, liberal women of color who keep on systemically oppressing him. Not to mention misspelling and/or mispronouncing his name.

He's a nutcase, obviously. And he's wrong about The Stranger's "oppression" of straight people and white people.

But, he's right about how you all treat people of faith.

Just so you know...

So that is how you spell "zilch" I seriously have never seen it spelled out before.

BTW, B. Parker, you are writing a letter; NOT a text message. Please spell out words like "people" and "your". Thank you!

Gee, I wonder what this Angry White Male's prescription for racial and sexual reconciliation would be? Surely something intended to "level the playing field" because, as everyone knows, we're all equal now and history means nothing.

Note to text message obsessed abbreviators: YR = Your, UR = You're.

Nothing worse than someone suffering from CVC (Christian Victim Complex). As my late father - a devout Catholic - often observed, maybe they need to bring the lions back. That would show them what a REAL Christian victim is.

And has anyone picked up on their new talking point? It basically goes like this: liberals only want to hear liberal opinions, others opinions are shot down. They bring that up constantly, yet they get that point from shows like Limbaugh and networks like FOX, where they don't even allow opposing voices to be heard.

God, conservatives are dumb.

@16, Bring the lions back. FINALLY a real solution. I was actually upset when I watched the show Gladiators on TV: I was hoping the Gladiators were killing off Christians on TV...

Needless to say I was disappointed, very very disappointed.

Booo hoooo I'm a poor oppressed white straight Christian man. The ultimate minority. Oh the strange rubbin salt in my wounds. Ow it hurts, oh it hurts! Where are all the other straight, white, male, Christians?

I feel so alone. *cry*

Sure, and The Stranger is responsible for the Inquisition and Dan is Torqeamada. Try
as I might, I can't make my mind go back to the days when I was brainwashed this much. As for healing and justice, we'll soon get our chance.

I hate the phrase "people of faith." Go home, Dori.

I'll gladly back up anyone who works against the capitalization of gay, bi, or deaf. Lesbian is okay, as it's derived from a proper noun.

They started it ...

Hell, The stranger isn't bad. Especially when it tries to come up with "evidence" and these conservative pundits tell stories like the Brothers Grimm

Besides, "liberals" aren't afraid to call themselves on their own BS every so often. We read the onion and lamment on our support of bioethanol, and talk rather tongue and cheek about Bill Clinton.

#21, who's 'Dori'?

Typical. Another logical fallacy (seriously this is like a trip through Old Fallacy Buffet) hide some legitimate criticisms of the hackwork on here in a nutcase's letter. That'll prove he's wrong!

That will prove they are ALL WRONG.
