Jay-Z and Gong Li. Amazing. The woman who brought life to Chinese cinema in the arms of the man who brought death to hiphop.

"the man who brought death to hiphop"

that title's undisputed king is sean puffy combs.

the jigga had a couple of decent outings. stop hating, he might look like joe camel, but he goes home to beyonce. besides, american gangster was a decent album.

gong li's to live is one of the most beautiful movies ever.

yeah dude, the death of hip-hop was completely puffy's doing. it can all be traced back to one [really, really shitty] song exploiting his good friend's death, and then building a media empire on the back of that senseless tragedy. it's all down hill from there.

Agreed w/ the puffy daddy comments. Lump Kanye in there, too.
Oh, and he does look like Joe Camel w/ a bit of Admiral Ackbar thrown in.

The whole thing looks posed.

Uncomfortably posed.

If they've got any mutual chemistry whatsoever, this picture does not capture it

hip hop is by no means dead, easily accessible music of any genre should not be regarded as some sort of ambassador. i think there is some amazing things happening RIGHT NOW. jay-z is, and always was, a douche.
