I don't know the guy, but the ad itself is made of win.

I'm moving to wherever he lives, so I can vote for him and have a beer.

That made me laugh. Nothing beats a good commercial.

The fact that he's super short and has a hook hand is pretty fucking great. He's actually a pretty good candidate too.

Novick is going to single-handedly change the tone and style of Oregon politics.

All fealty given to my new hobbit-pirate boy-genius Senator.

Well he's not going to get an endorsement from Charles Mudede

Wow...a political ad that doesn't suck. It's like seeing Bigfoot or a leprechaun.

The hook gets all the attention, but I think it's much more exotic that he doesn't have fibulas. The fact that he graduated college at 18 and Harvard Law at 21 and served as lead council on the Love Canal case? Bo-ring.

I think I've developed a new fettish.

If he gets elected, chalk up another victory of the forces of keeping Portland (or in this case Oregon) weird.

I worked with Steve on a Senate campaign in Oregon 13 years ago. He's one of the smartest people I've ever had the opportunity to be associated with, and as demonstrated in the ad he has a great sense of humor.

This made me chuckle, and also reminds me I need to go make another donation to his campaign. I strongly urge you all to do the same.
