He’ll Be Myth-ed

Robert Asprin, who was known primarily for the MythAdventure series of humorous fantasy novels, has died. I haven’t read one of his books, really, since I was twelve and discovered Terry Pratchett, but I must’ve read a half dozen of those Myth books when I was a kid and consumed a mass market paperback a day.

I prefer the works of Nathan Acetaminophen myself.

Yeah, I read a lot of those books, too. They were fun at the time.

I remember having a pun-fest with him years ago.

A great guy.

I love that you posted this. I flew through these in junior high at approximately the same rate. I think I probably stopped reading them when I started reading Piers Anthony (I'm not sure which is the better choice....).

Haven't thought about those books in years. I was probably 10 or 11 when I started that series and loved it at the time. Best not to revisit them now.
