@3: Well, I don't read Dlisted, but I'll take your word for it. My old roommate e-mailed me that video because the dog in the hat who saves the day looks exactly like our former dog. I'd like to apologize to everyone who was led to believe that I singlehandedly discovered dogs in a speakeasy walking on their hind legs. I didn't.

Turner Classic Movies used to run these all the time. I'm a bit proud of the channel for running them, given how many levels of "WRONG" they are, but I have to admit guilt in being fascinated by the aesthetic of these poor dogs nervously jittering about in tongue-heavy vaudeville.
