The polls are now open in North Carolina and Indiana. First results will start coming in after 4 p.m. PST, and I’ll be here to parse them with you, but until then a Slog poll:
I'm excited about today, just because I know I'm due for a few cheap thrills as I watch the news channels this evening. Shrillary gets my blood boiling, Obama makes me misty, I yell at the TV, my husband locks himself in the bedroom to escape.
The dogs have the right attitude and do not pay attention to sound bites.
If it wasn't for my needing the summer sun to recover from all this gray weather, I'd be happy to skip ahead to November.

I don't know that we'll hear any of those (I know I won't, since I can't think of anything I'm less likely to do than watch TV "news" coverage of the results - okay, maybe it's less likely that I'd watch Idol or Dancing with Big Brother or whatever).
None of your phrases seem to apply to whatever tonight's pointless results are.

Bow out? I wish.
My phrase of the evening will be, "States are not won. Delegates are won."
Take a drink anytime you hear the tv people say one of these phrases.

So "under the bus" is officially all used up then?
Well, there is the Washington Bus ... but although I wish the phrase would be "bow out", sadly it will be "gas tax".
@5: No way, dude. "Working class whites" FTW.

What about "close the deal"?
Well, if it is, I'll buy you a beer at the Fuse election watch at Moe's tonite, Aislinn.
None of the Above. The phrase of the night I'm guessing is likely to be "continues on."
i thought "bow out" said "bow wow".
