Back in the day, Finn McCool's trivia night was pretty close to what you were describing, but I haven't gone in a couple of years. "What was the name of the female ghost in Pac-Man?" type stuff.

Clever Dunne's trivia night was pretty fun too. The Irish Emigrant's trivia was really, really hard (you would really have had to have a knowledge of '90s international sports).

You might want to check out the All-Star Pop Culture Trivia at Jillian's, though, as it's all pop culture, which probably includes Star Wars and comic books. Next season starts tomorrow night. I've yet to go, but I'd really like to try it out.

Kate's is good. Mulleady's in Magnolia is good. The George & Dragon is hard but fun.

My recommendation for a place that's awesome and also happens to be on the hill is Clever Dunnes. The hosts do their best to make sure players have a good time and/or get drunk, and while there's the occasional "who the fuck would know that?" question, most rounds have a little something for everyone.
