I admit it, we still watch it, but mostly because I enjoy yelling at the tv.

There have been some good moments this season. The Penny phone call was s-a-d.

I do the best impression of Desmond telling Penny (and over, and over again) "Eight years! I wont call ye for EIGHT YEARS Penny!"

Too funny. But yeah, totally cried at the end... when he called her EIGHT YEARS later.

You must know only, like, two people. Because everyone I know watches it--and I personally know six people who are even watching it on DVD to catch up.

I think I know a couple of people who don't watch it...

I watched most of this video. That amounted to the most Lost I have ever seen. It was entertaining fo the first 1/4 - then it became weird and repetitive.

I've watched since day 1 on the island. It's got hot guys and a good enough plot line. And it's not going to be on the air after the 2010 finale, so I hear.

The first 30 seconds of that were very funny.

And Dan, if you've haven't watched recently then you missed a kinda random gay kiss in an episode.

I feel real pity for those people who gave up watching LOST anytime before the end of season 3... you honestly don't know how much you're missing.

I gave up waking lost at the first or second commercial break in the first episode of the first season, from time to time I come across it while flipping through the channels and that is exactly what I think.
It explains a lot that the cast is asking "what" too.

did anybody else catch the duplicated clip in there?

Pshaw, LOST got really good again toward the end of last season, and it's been great so far this year.

Maybe not Battlestar Galactica great, but still great.

I tried to get into that show, but the first couple episodes I just found painful to watch. I do know a lot of people into it though. I prefer The Wire.

I watch it, Lost has replaced the X-files and Robert Jordan in my life.

Wait, you know people who started watching it regularly, but have since quit? Who are these people?! The first half of season three may have been bad, but I don't know anyone who thought it was that bad.

Big fan. The flash forward narrative has completely reinvigorated the show.

Sorry Dan... But LOST is the best show ever created for US TV (only AbFab ranks higher). Everyone I know watches it... and no, we're not dorks, just very very gay.

Lost is the best scripted thing on TV. I mean, seriously...Battlestar is good, but, Lost... God Damn. And on ABC of fucking places. Wow.

wrong again, Kimo Sabe...You don't KNOW me, but you know OF me and I watch LOST!

AND, even more damning, the Stranger's lovely and talented Copy Chief, Gillian Anderson is a huuuuuuuge LOSTie.

Who doesn't watch Lost? And yes, it has been really good so far this season.

Battlestar Galactica on the other hand has been, sadly, going steadily downhill for quite a while.

Best show on TV? Without question the new Doctor Who with David Tennant. Torchwood also has promise, and definitely should appeal to the X-Files crowd.

So you're saying everybody you know is missing out on really good TV? There are worse things I guess and only so many hours in the day. I'm sure there are good shows I'm not watching, too.

I just had to add another tally on the Lost fans' side. Yes, it sucked for a bit but has been rejuvenated ever since they put an end date on the series.

If The Stranger actually had a competent TV columinist, y'all might realize this.

I just started watching it about two months ago, via ABC's web site. I guess that means I'm removed from the psychological drama of anticipation and the high standards that arise from being invested in a long-running serial, but I honestly think the fourth season (I'm caught up as of last night) has been stellar, nearly as good as the first. The Desmond/Penny episode, in fact, was one of my favorites thus far.

Craziness. Lost has gotten really good again, and even when it was slumping, it was still interesting. But this year has been great.

I've been with LOST since the beginning. Even the low point of the series (the huge missed opportunities of the tailies - wrong casting all around) have had enough interesting parts to keep me there, and since the end of S2 it's been just excellent. Michael Emerson is just mesmerizing to watch (no, not for the eye-candy factor) and even Evangeline Lilly has evolved into a compelling actor. Almost makes me forget about her "Live LInks" days...
