<description><![CDATA[<p>I don't know that the minor league/major league analogy is completely accurate, since quite a few actors have gone back-and-forth between the two companies for a number of years, but regardless, it does make perfect sense, and I for one wish the "new" company (I presume they'll continue to operate under the Seattle Shakespeare Company monicker) well.</p>]]></description>

Many young actors, friends of mine included, move straight from UW Drama as grads or undergrads into the small-to-medium-role river of Wooden O, and it looks like those opportunities will now lead to a much bigger river, so to speak.
