Seattle Police are investigating the murder of a 49-year-old woman, who was found dead in her apartment at the Frye Hotel last night.

A neighbor of the victim went to visit the 49-year-old woman and found her front door open. When the neighbor entered the woman’s apartment, she found her body. Neighbors say they had not seen the 49-year-old woman since Saturday.

Police were called to the Frye Hotel—which was converted to low-income housing in 1998—where police took a 48-year-old man in to custody. SPD has not released information on the man’s relationship to the victim.

Hardly surprising. Everyone knows the Frye apartments are devil communists.

Totally. We should make some cardboard signs and stand around on downtown street corners yelling about it for the next 15 years or something..

I suspect Ron Sims is somehow complicit in this as well...

1970 is presumably when it became a shabby (but serviceable) SRO hotel, the kind downtown was full of back then. 1998 is when LIHI bought it and started managing it as a non-profit with government funding. I don't think there are ANY private SROs left in Seattle, certainly not downtown. Where do you think all the homeless men you see came from?

This is why we should listen to Fnarf and only replace our single-family zoning citywide with at most 3-4 story buildings. And build to the sidewalks.

You're getting too much paraquat again, Will.
