Oh, totally. This is cool. Fucking badass. Hardcore. Awesome. Gnarly. Tubular.

By the time I walk in the booth, I'm going to be so fucking sick of Obama I'll probably vote for McCain.

OK, Jesus Christ in light of Charles' post on the CGC logo, the logo on the screen right now makes me scream with laughter. "Turn me on" hahahahahahaha.

I'm with Aislinn. I'm supposed to be working, I really don't want an auto-starting video showing my office what I'm actually doing...please put it under a cut, or something?

Yeah, it loads automatically. I thought God was talking to me, but it was just Obama.

Ouch. Obama just said that China was "taking us to the cleaners." Careful with those words, O!

Does anyone know if this is unscripted questions or if the reporters had to give him the questions they were going to ask ahead of time?

He's been getting flak from some of the media about not giving unscripted media access and not being as available to the press that travels with him as the other two candidates are, so I'm curious if this combined with the Fox appearance signals a change in his behavior toward the press.

@10 One cannot watch any of the other linked videos without hearing Obama mixed in, turning off one's sound is a retard fix.

NaFun @6:

Did he just start talking about high speed rail connecting major midwestern cities? HOLY CRAP!!

Not surprised.

When he was in Scranton, PA, he talked about using intercity rail as a tool for revitalizing smaller cities. When he was in Reading, PA, he talked about providing mass transit as an alternative for people who can't afford the high price of gas--and he specifically mentioned light rail. He endorsed Bloomberg's congestion pricing plan for NYC. And unlike panderer-in-chief Hillary, he hasn't hopped on the inane gas-tax-holiday bandwagon.

When it comes to transportation issues, Obama promises to be the most progressive president we've had in the freeway era. My mother, who attended the Reading, PA, town hall, keeps having this foreboding thought about Obama that she's had about Al Gore. It's that he's just too good for this bleeped-up country of ours.

@12: He said he would support using federal infrastructure funding for high-speed rail projects, specifically a line that connected Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Louis. He said rail was better for the environment and could be very competitive with airlines given fuel prices.

His transportation plan has the following:

Support Development of High-Speed Freight and Passenger Rail: Barack Obama supports development of high-speed rail networks across the country. Providing passengers with safe high-speed rail will have significant environmental and metropolitan planning advantages and help diversify our nation’s transportation infrastructure. Our domestic rail freight capacity must also be strengthened because our demand for rail transportation has never been greater, leaving many key transportation hubs stretched to capacity. Obama is committed to renewing the federal government’s commitment to high speed rail so that our nation’s transportation infrastructure continues to support, and not hinder, our nation’s long-term economic growth.

I'm guessing this was unscripted. Editorial boards aren't going to look kindly on a candidate who required the questions beforehand. Since the point is to get the endorsement, you roll with it.
