What a poetic way to say you didn't want to take the time to research and attribute. TRI's blog seems to indicate she had contacted you days ago about this. What would have been more professional would be to repost the original entry with a simple attribution, instead of this weird backhanded "it's not my fault" statement.

The attribution was posted in the comments on the original Slog piece a couple of hours after it was put up. It also makes no sense to say "an information nursery somewhere in China". The picture was not found in China, it was found on a website, which has a URL, which could have and should have been included. Charles needs to turn his Address Bar on.

And Slog really does need to start obeying Flickr's terms of service, and make all posted photographs link back to the original image in the Flickr user's photostream. It's really easy to do; easier than making the link separately as Charles has done here.

You people act like you really think Charles has a clue. Face the facts, folks. And oh, Charles, I thought of you this weekend. I bought a pith helmet. Possibly the most perfect summer headgear known to man. Of course, there are those bothersome colonial, racist connotations, but who cares about that?
