I think the conundrum is instinct versus "civil" society. People with the ability to reason seem to have an added edge in controlling their behavior. Religion seems to rob people of their reason, therefore their edge. Not that everybody who can reason is perfect. But survival of the species depended on instinct much longer than it depended on reason. But maybe I'm just full of shit.

What's the 3rd Degree of Sodomy and how do I achieve it?

I like that they still use the word sodomy.

Hey, if he was also a soccer coach, he could've even further increased his odds. I think that's called "diversifying your portfolio."

Sodomy is one of those words that I never quite know what they mean when they say it. I mean I get the biblical reference, but does it refer to anal, oral, bestiality, sex with foreign objects, sex with the same gender? So I went to dictionary.com to see the definition and turns out depending on what source you consult it could mean any of those things.

What definition do states where sodomy is against the law use?

Sodomy as a charge is used as a catch-all for anything not missionary-style and in many states still includes oral as well as anal, frottage and etc.

Savage,

never ever whine about somebody being treated by the media as though they are guilty prior to their day in court. You never get that moral high ground.

IMHO: He probably did it, fits the pattern because HE BELIEVES IN JESUS AND IS ASSOCIATED WITH A CHURCH but I'm not a journalist. I have no standards.
