I feel like my dating history single-handedly disproves Growing Up Straight.
That reminds me, I still need to get a yarmulke for my boyfriend's seder next week.
fucking federal reserve. fucking fuck.
I believe the first movie to use "fucking fuck" was Platoon. It's used while Sheen pulls that dude off that chick he was totally raping. He's all like, "fucking fuck?!" Indeed.
Wrong link to chubby insomniac babies
Platoon (1986)
Fucking animal! All of you, you're fucking animals!
Fucking lame fuck!
You don't belong in Nam, man! Ain't your place at all!
You don't fucking get it, do you, man?
You just don't fucking get it.
The Crying Game (1992)
Fuck off, Dave.
No, I won't fucking fuck off. Said I'm sorry, didn't I?
To me, "fucking fuck off" is a different phrase than just "fucking fuck". Yet it does in fact say "fucking fuck", no doubt. But "fucking lame fuck" is a whole other thing too. Entirely.
Hugz.
Stupid broken blockquote tags. Fucking fuck.
I don't remember hearing "fucking fuck off", did you pull that from the script? I'll check it out tonight. Maybe the off is mumbled? Dunno. I'll get back to you on this.
Noooo, you missed it. I'm sure of it. It's before Sheen starts ranting. And it's the rapist who says it, not Sheen.
The Crying Game? Where did that come from? Are you IMDb quote searching? That isn't going to find you shit.
Well if the fucking actors won't stick to the script, then they should be shot. By the IRA.
I couldn't find a Platoon script online, but you can Google "Platoon subtitles" and then look at the .ssa file with a text editor. Just as good.
@4) Thanks. Fixed it.
Subtitles are never 100% accurate, especially during scenes involving reaction rhetoric or group argumentation. Lines are left out if they're considered irrelevant to the plot and/or cause too much clutter for the pacing of the optical track, yo.
I'll get back to you. Pretty sure "fucking fuck" is there.
The evidence is hardly airtight
Uh, yeah, no shit. It's a good thing too, because Jew dudes are hot.
Oh, and Ellen Craswell died!
In addition to the auctions which supply loans for 28 days to commercial banks, the Fed announced last month that it was employing Depression-era provisions to allow investment banks to borrow directly from the Fed. Previously, only commercial banks had that privilege.
Meh, times are tough. We went through the same thing with the Asia Crisis...also spurred by an overheated real estate market! This time its actually in our country and not something overseas that we caused. Yay for us, bringing economic hardtimes home. ;)

They can either bail out people or we can go into econmic shock and millions can be out of work. They gotta do it, and kudos for keeping the banks afloat.
O-Mo, Maybe this country needs a bit of "economic shock"
Nice article in WSJ about redrawing the electoral map but it says any of O C or McC could do it. As b/ Obama and Clinton:
Obama can pull in WI (but duh it's D anyway last 2x??) plus mebbe CO NM NV VA (I'm not buying the idea he can get GA MS AL). For Clinton: mebbe MO AR TN NH and OH PA and FL.
Comment in subdued, respectful tone: the WSJ provides us with a a clear distinction in electoral map redrawing power among the 2 democratic candidates.
I don't understand why those polygamist chicks are dressed up so hideously... If I had ten teenage wives I'd dress em all up in matching lingerie and stripper heels.
God I wish I had ten teenage wives...
@18,
For one thing, they usually live in desperate poverty. That's what happens when one man supports several wives and dozens of children.
@Bellevue: When the country goes into shock it's not the corporate millionare jerks that suffer, its millions of middle to low income people. They lose their jobs, their retirement, stocks, bonds, etc. Those numbers are people's lives. People who don't have as many options are we do here in Seattle. We are lucky with our diverse economy but we aren't even that insulated from this disaster.
And it's harder to bounce back after that. It takes years longer. And we simply don't have the infrastructure to take care of that many destitute people. So either we use the fed and IMF for what they are for, or we suffer longer dips. It won't stop the boom/bust cycle. It is meant to soften the busts, which it is doing.
Don't blame the fed, blame Alan fucking Greenspan...
@19, typically, it's several wives supporting one husband and many children.
i like to refer to that dress is the american burqa. you can find numerous examples at most conservative churches.
@21,
Sure, except when they're not allowed to have real paying jobs. Or when their ten children make it impossible to have paying jobs.
Maybe the people need to suffer a bit so they can re-evaluate the reasons that bad things happened in the first place and how to build a brighter future.
eh, i'd like to mix OM and BA on this one. let's put the corporate millionaires into shock for once. just for the fun of it. when they see they can't rip off everyone and get away with it maybe they'll change their practices. eh, probably not.
