Take that one named Duser. He referred to OBama as a colored guy. How racist! The correct term is African American. Or, multiracial. Which means saying he's black is okay and and saying he's white is wrong. Even though this is really cultural. Anyway, anyone who notices or says he's a colored guy is a racist. OF course, if the person speaking is a "person of color" and refers to "person of color" that's okay and is not racist. Right?

As to Jean Fetterman, who thinks Obama is Muslim -- wow, you found an ignorant person. The polls show 8 or 10 percent think Obama is Muslim. Yes, you are correct, there are ignorant people in the USA and they say the most ridiculous things.

Now let's look over at another table -- oh lok there's Rev. Wright! He said that the USA government invented HIV. To hurt minorities. The white dominated USA government. Implying: white people are guilty of genocide in regards to HIV.

On topic: If there are tolls on 520 does that mean a)People will move to be closer to their jobs b)Eastside companies will re-locate to Seattle c)People will drive either around the top or the bottom of the lake to avoid paying tolls thereby clogging 405 and I-5 even more.

For me at least, the sad thing about that story isn't that there are racist or ignorant Clinton OR Obama supporters per-se, but that, in this day-and-age ANYONE who has the ability to read beyond an eighth-grade comprehension can still believe the things they do!

Granted, a lot of the MSM doesn't help matters by parroting whatever the party line is of those they not-so-objectively support, but it's not like there aren't literally scores of alternatives - heck, www.refdesk.com alone has links to several hundred daily, weekly, and monthly news publications scattered all over the globe.

It's just the notion that there's all this INFORMATION, but people still can't get either their facts straight, or their personal biases straightened out, that simultaneously amazes and infuriates me.

Duser's statement, "I'm not crazy about voting for a colored guy," is not racist because he uses the term "colored guy". It's racist because he is using colour as the sole basis of his judgement of Obama. That's what prejudice IS.
