The caption, translated, reads: "Like a truculent child with his head against the wall."
In the French version of that nursery rhyme, it's "le fromage est battu" ("the cheese is beaten").
that's almost last supper-ish.
Can we add a giant target over his face?
Mmmk thanx
NATO to GWB: Sod off.
Ha! Good one!
This reminds of the Southpark episode where Cartman thought he was dead because all the other kids were ignoring him.
they pissed him off. he's totally gonna invade iran now.
@3 -- Totally. Except no way would W have that many disciples.
Poor Georgie, always the last one picked when the bigger kids choose sides for kickball...

"I'm not standing by him, you stand by him." "No way, I'm not standing by him either." "Someone's got to stand by him." "If we pretend he isn't here, will he just go away?"
Sometimes I actually feel a little, tiny bit bad for him.
poor schmuck.
@13: ...and then I remember that he chose his cabinet.
@13 - I don't.
I read the English language edition of Der Spiegel regularly. Wish I could read German so I could get the rest of the magazine on a regular basis. I note that this photo isn't there in that edition. Sad, I guess they don't want to offend the Americans too much. But I think a lot of their USA readers would have appreciated that photo too actually.
I wouldn't want to stand next to the war criminal either.
There must have been a sale on blue ties recently.
