That's how they will have to pry Mr. Poe away from me.

Tasteless, yet entirely expected.

What's tasteless about reminding people what a colostomy bag this dead actor was?

now that I'm seeking votes in PA, I say this man is a hero of constitutional rights, and I adopt the basic Charlton Heston/NRA position on the 2d Amendment.

So Heston died Saturday. And Friday was the 40th anniversary of MLK's death. Did you know this about Heston and MLK?

@ 10:

I already did. I think "Charlton" sounds far, far nicer than "Charmin," don't you?

As always, your imagery is without equal, Fnarf.

I don't know why after someone dies, we feel the need to ignore the shitty things that they did during their life. Seems to me like we should take it all into account.

C.H. Was an adequate actor with a penchant for devices that are designed to kill. As a whole, I rate his time on earth as "meh."

#13 - What did Heston do that you think is so shitty? Disagree with your politics?

Title should've read: "About that Rifle ... " or maybe "That Rifle, please."

Even better: "Ebay!"

Would've liked to see him as Enobarbus in Antony in Cleopatra as a younger man. Apparently that was an early stage success for him.

And his last film role was a cameo in Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes. That just ain't right. No matter what, that just ain't right.

It sucks that he didn't die with a gun in his hand. Poor fellar.

While they are at it, perhaps they can pry his head from his cold, dead rectum.

Perhaps we can get him into your "standard English usage" class, where they also teach "proper capitalization without needless ellipsis."

Slanderous asses! Heston was a great man. Highly educated. Well informed, unlike most of you ingrades. He fought for CIVIL RIGHTS! Read your Bill of rights, thats right YOUR Bill of Rights! That goes for everyone! Thats what he believed in and he didn't care if you didn't like his personal views. He BELIEVED in YOUR RIGHTS and fought for them in MANY ways, not just as the President of the NRA.
This division of Americans ideals WILL BE the fall of this once great country.
Keep slinging your mud at each other that is exactly what those who wish this country ill will want you to do.
You are all terribly and disturbingly predictable and ignorant.
