Will somebody please explain to me what a "hair matrix" is...? I could understand this story better if I knew! Thanks.

If that picture is how she ended up, I say give her whatever she wants.

It's all Brad Pitt's fault. He forgot to tell her, "The first rule of Hair Club For Men is you do not talk about Hair Club For Men."

Sounds like she lost the battle of graft vs. host.

How nice. The thing all went to hell so they offered to reimburse her. Who says American business doesn't care about consumers.

eh ... was she made aware of the risks BEFORE the procedure was attempted? I never got the impression we were all that good at replacing hair anyways.

A balding friend of mine went for a consult: They super glue a woven toupe to your head. Some people are allergic to super glue, they're supposed to do a spot test first but rarely do because they don't want people getting sticker shock and not returning.

@1 beat me to it so my obscure runner up is...

"she obviously took the wrong pill."

A "matrix" is a basically a fine screen that hair is tied to with a small hook (kind of latch hook or crochet) and then glued to the head. It is supposed to stay on for a while then get removed for additional hair to be added then glued back on. I used to work at the hair club back in the early 90s.
