It's one thing for the GOP candidate to advocate a pandering tax cut while campaigning. But for a leading Democrat to sign on to that very reckless, irresponsible same tax cut? That takes a doomed bonehead proposal and breathes all kinds of life into it. For Hillary to turn on the Democrats this way is bad enough, but she might actually give this idea the push it needs to pass.

ECB wrote at great length all the reasons why this is a terrible policy. The point should be driven home, and Obama should get cover for having the courage to oppose this cheap pandering.
