2008 Obama Gets That Dirt Off His Shoulders
posted by April 17 at 17:30 PM
onSnatched almost whole-cloth from Matt Yglesias: Barack Obama today managed to criticize the ABC debate while also subliminally channeling Jay Z—which must be a campaign first.
Check out Obama at about 2:20.
And now, Jay-Z:

Holley Shit!... did he just flip Clinton off @~1:20?.... (!)
"Holy" not "Holley"... (oh, the shame...)
obama is the coolest pol ever
@1, no. But if he did flip, it was at the MSM.
Not only were two of my posts--the first criticizing Dan's earlier jingoism and the second saying that the current Dembacle is the result of manufactured diversity blocs--deleted outright, but so was a response to one of them by somebody else (McCain/Crist 08). In other words, my posts *never existed*. Good job, Winston Smith! I've read posts by ecce homo that were racist as hell that were left up; where's *your* consistency, SLOG? If I'm a moonbat, then I'm a moonbat--the posts should speak for themselves. I used to think you guys were libertarians in liberals' clothing, but now I think you are fascists. I've had it. I'm voting for McCain.
Total esprit d'escalier. If only he had pulled that smooth operator shit out of his ass during the actual debate last night. Still and all, this makes me ten kinds of happy.
He's got 99 problems but being a bitch ain't one!
I think he needs to pull out some rap graphs.
Who says it's subliminal? Seems overt to me.
He makes me swoony.
I couldn't help but feel like there was some Cosby channeling there too.
And @1: It sure sounds like plenty in the audience thought the same thing. THAT was subliminal, if anything.
"And I have to say, Senator Clinton... she looked, looked in her element, uhhm..."
[scratches side of face with middle finger absent-mindedly]
[crowd on that side starts hooting]
Obama's a cool dude, but DAMN THAT JIGGA TRACK IS THE JAM!
Thank you Slog. I had forgotten how good Jay-Z really is. If only we could get some Nas flavor up in here.
"You can take the Negro out of the Ghetto, but you can never take the Ghetto out of the Negro"
Alan Keyes
Wiser words were never spoken.
Best Rapper alive meet best politician alive.
Someone needs to cut up some obama video's and lay them under that Jay track.
Bubbles, have you seen this?

eh. it reminded me of when your parents try to be cool.
i can't choose whether i'm more of an @7 or @18 on this one...
I hereby nominate this for Obama's election-night victory anthem.
