Nazi Fetish

posted by on April 9 at 10:01 AM

So… a lot of folks feel it’s not okay for the sixty-something son of the leader of the pre-WWII British fascists to host a “Nazi-style orgy.” I wonder how those people feel about Israeli Holocaust survivors that shared his passion for Nazi-style role playing games?

May I be so kind as to step in here and re-direct to the Peter gabriel forums column of Educate Peter for a quick briefing on yesterday's Wall Street Journal Report from page A3 on Privacy Fears and Satellite Programs By Siobhan Gorman?

Then of course, the real treat for rant and rave back here at The Stranger as I must attempt to keep Peter's PG rating on the Queens sort of this Seattle Port.

Longer, daniel, we want the LONGER kook rants.

Dan, do you see any difference between a rape victim with a rape fantasy, and a RAPIST with one?

And don't you agree that Max Mosley's public kink is primarily not a moral issue but a COMEDY one?

Everybody in racing is a freak of some kind. It went largely unnoticed at the time, but did you know four time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi -- an Italian! -- ran for Governor of Washington State? Like Mosley's S&M, it was both legal and harmless, but somewhat embarrassing to all concerned.

@6

Because South Park, Liberty Heights, and a thousand other pieces of entertainment have already ruined that action. It's dead. So stop asking.

That article says the nazi porn in 1960s israel opened the door to talk about the holocaust, which had been "hush hush" in israel until then. Really? You're telling me they covered up the holocaust in *Israel*? Why do I not buy that?

It's a little worse than a Jewish person driving a Mercedes, but not much.

@8--
The article is not trying to claim that anyone tried to cover up the Holocaust in Israel. It does, however, recognize that upon release from the concentration camp, many Holocaust survivors felt uncomfortable or even incapable of talking about their experiences, and in the interests of choosing to lead a "normal" life, avoided the subject as much as possible. For this reason, open dialogue about the Holocaust was slow to come to some Jewish communities.

This was such an obvious setup, that Max shouldn't be forced to resign because of his kink, but because of his foolishness. Did he really think no one would ever find out about this? Do English whores have a code of ethics that their American counter-parts don't?

If Max was Jewish, and openly involved in anti-defamation type of stuff, then he should be outed as a complete hypocrite. (Like certain gay-bashing preachers here) Otherwise, this is just gross titillation. Who really wants to think about a 60+ dude getting it on with 5 chicks. (Unless it's Hef. He's a god.)

I don't care if it was goddamn Ann Frank writing those books, I would still call her out for her bad taste. Nazi-style sex is just tacky. It deserves to be mocked.

@4: A valid point, if this was his father we're talking about, but it's not. Why should he be held to a different standard because of his father's actions?
