Especially if the asshole behind the wheel is some idiot that's already has hit a cyclist and doesn't have the good sense to stay off the road.

Well, if that idiot hadn't been driving on the WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD this accident never would have happened.

And wazzup with this commercial - actually ENCOURAGING JAYWALKING?!

Plus, they make old geezers do their own stunt work? Who ARE these people?

And that announcer sure sounds funny - must be from Canada or something.

I'll never forget the scene of a guy being hit by a car. He was running to catch a bus I think, he was a tall guy. The car was zooming up 5th ave to beat the yellow light, the car was small, it hit the guy and he flew over the top like a rag doll being thrown. When he hit the pavement one of his legs was twitching. Cars dominate the roads, we're just prey they're looking for.

#4 - No such thing as jaywalking in the UK. When I first moved here I was incredulous - you can get arrested (well "ticketed") for crossing the road in the wrong place? Viva freedom!

Looks like a Hammer and a Peach to me...

Oh, and if we're telling "saw x hit by car" stories... I saw that woman get hit by the #26 bus in Fremont a few years ago. I'll never forget the sound of her head hitting the tarmac... a dull moist thud like a wet board. Gut turning. Sadly, she did die.

Thanks Paul, I'll take that as a compliment coming from someone who's culture produced such "comedy masters" as Benny Hill and Catherine Tate, not to mention such comedic "gems" as "TittyBangBang" and "Heil Honey, I'm Home!"
