I would have saved them. Nothing a little anti-bacterial soap cant take care of. I can imagine that whoever those were, they flew out of her purse as she was putting it on her shoulder. I doubt she ever knew...or ever will know.

That water looks pretty clear. Worse comes to worse you flush the toilet a couple time to clean them (they're not going down the drain).

And the seat looks dry. Don't see too many of those, either.

Turn them in?
The person that dropped them is not going to call to see if anyone fished them out. They left them there because they did not want to fish them out.
Just let the airport people know there is a pair of glasses in the shitter or just walk away. No need to fish them out. Not because it is dirty or anything. It is just water they are in.

The toilet's nowhere near the dirtiest thing in the bathroom. The sink, counter, soap thingie, handles, towel thingie and door are all probably worse. And, you know, if you WASH YOUR HANDS, you're going to be fine. Whoever left these in there is stupid.

Heck, If they are prescription I'd consider rescuing them even if they were not mine. There are charities that take used eye glasses and fix them up for those who need them.

Perhaps the person who threw the glasses did not own them? Or was a horrible germ-o-phobe.

I drop my phone in the urinal every once in a while. Take out the SIM card and wash it, big deal... I did kill my last phone rinsing it off, but I was drunk and kinda hated the thing anyhow. If you're real squeamish, Lysol that shit at home. Chances are the toilet bowl isn't the dirties place you'll ever set your belonging. As a matter of fact, the keyboard your tying on probably is.

I dropped my night guard into the toilet one time (albeit my own toilet). Although I squirmed for a few seconds, the choice was pretty straightforward. Out of the toilet, lots and lots of soap and I think some rubbing alcohol and back into my mouth..

The nose they were sitting on was probably dirtier than the toilet they fell into - people's noses are really filthy.
