LiveBlogging the Democratic Debate

posted by on April 16 at 17:00 PM

Whatever, tape delay. Our commenters (thank you, commenters!) have found me two livestream sources, here and here.

You know the liveblogging drill by now. And, SPOILER ALERT, if you were planning to watch the delayed version, read no further.

This was not a debate worth watching. And I'm someone who has watched at least 3/4th of them. ABC, well Charley Gibson mainly, showed a total lack of interest in even getting to substantive issues for the first hour. I expect to get drivel from the candidates in response to questions they want to avoid but in this case the questions themselves were all drivel. Hopefully this will be ABC's last debate of this election season and that the candidates in the general election will choose another forum with someone who does something other than watch cable pundits to come up with questions. Total waste of time.

When this live-blog went down, I went to a couple of other blogs. Most folks are saying that the moderators were a joke. There were very few questions on real issues. As HuffPo says, it was the gotcha debate. Sad.

What is wrong with the Media that they think they can speak for us. That was not a DEBATE! That was intertainment only, God help us all...
