John Lurie: A Fine Example of Art

It’s a book that’s about to come out from powerHouse Books, featuring the funny and touching paintings by Lurie, a musician/actor/artist (remember him in Jim Jarmusch’s films?).

If he wasn't a celebrity no one would ever have glanced at these twice. If they ever made it out of the artist's journal they'd be hanging in a coffeeshop in Maltby with little "$25" tags on them.
